Bruins Road Trip To Utah — UCLA will travel to Salt Lake City to meet Utah in a Pac-12 contest set for 7 p.m. PT/ 8p.m. MT kickoff on
Saturday, Oct. 30. The game will be televised by ESPN. The UCLA Learfi eld Radio Network will broadcast the contest, which will also be aired over
SiriusXM and the Varsity App.

UCLA owns an 11-7 overall advantage in the series with the Utes. Utah has captured the last four decisions in the series. The Bruins hold a 5-4 edge in
game played in Salt Lake City. UCLA’s last series win came in 2015 by a score of 17-9 in a game played in Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Fourth-year head coach Chip Kelly was named UCLA’s head football coach on Nov. 25, 2017. Kelly owns a collegiate record of 61-31 compiled in
three-plus seasons at UCLA (0-2 vs. UU) and in four seasons as the head coach at the University of Oregon (2009-12, 1-0 vs. Utah). During that

UCLA vs. Utah— In its last series win, UCLA secured a 17-9 victory over then #18 Utah in a game played in Salt Lake City. The Bruin defense
held Utah wthout a touchdown in the contest and UCLA scored TDs on its fi rst drive of the game (Thomas Duarte 28 yd pass from Josh Rosen-now
with Falcons) and late in the third quarter (Paul Perkins 2 yd run) to post the win. Jordan Payton caught 7 balls on the day, including a school record
194th career reception, for 105 yards. Jayon Brown (now with Titans) led UCLA’s defense, which forced two turnovers on the day, with 10 stops.

UCLA’s season-opening homestand continues on Saturday, Sept. 4 as the Bruins welcome LSU to Spieker Field at the Rose Bowl for a 5:30 p.m. contest to be broadcast by FOX. The Bruin Learfi eld Radio Network will broadcast the contest, which will also be aired by Westwood One and over SiriusXM and the Varsity App. The battle with LSU will mark the fi rst meeting between the schools in football.

LSU / SEC — While LSU and UCLA have not met on the gridiron, the Bruins have battled teams from the SEC quite often over the years and own a combined 18-15-4 record versus the current members of the league -- Alabama 2-1; Arkansas 1-0-1; Auburn 0-0; Florida 3-2; Georgia 0-2; Kentucky 0-0; LSU; Mississippi 0-0; Mississippi State 0-0; Missouri 2-0-1; Tennessee 6-7-2; South Carolina 0-0; Texas A&M 3-3; Vanderbilt 1-0. UCLA will return the game against LSU in Baton Rouge on Sept. 21, 2024. Since 2000, UCLA has posted a 5-1 record versus SEC teams with the loss coming in an overtime decision in College Station -- 2017 W vs. A&M; 2016 L at A&M; 2009 W at Tennessee; 2008 W vs. Tennessee; 2001 W at Alabama; 2000 W vs. Alabama.
